The Cunard, Queen Victoria at Liverpool Mon 26th July
We travelled into the city of Liverpool on Monday to see the cruise ship Queen Victoria at Liverpool Docks. It was very impressive to see we missed the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla who attended at 1pm. We only managed to get there for 5pm due to working. We were hoping to get invited on board as my in-laws were having there wedding vows blessed by the Captain Wright at 5.30pm. They have been married for 53 years which I think is pretty impressive. Unfortunately we were unable to get on board.
Royal Highness Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, sounded the midday whistle on the liner Queen Victoria in Liverpool Mon 26th July 2010.
The Duchess made an official visit to the liner during the ship’s first call at Liverpool to commemorate the 170th anniversary of Cunard starting services from the port.
