Helen’s feedback was a great reminder of why I invented the Gloven. I absolutely adore cooking. Sometimes I just do not get the time to do more experiments with food but I can honestly say I rarely cook the same meal twice. Helen mentioned baking bread. Well I do bake a fresh loaf every Sunday mainly because I have a bit more time. I also use my Gloven oven glove when taking the bread out of the bread maker as the bread machine can be very hot. It is very good for lifting the loaf out and then with the other hand you have hold of the very hot metal bread container. I sometimes make the bread with fresh yeast but I have to say I have cheated this weekend by buying a mix. The speciality breads that you buy from the bakery are not a patch on what you can do in the bread machine. I have a really good cook book from Marks & Spencers and it has some great bread recipes, including all the speciality breads that are so popular now. They are really easy to prepare and as long as you have some good strong bread flour in the cupboard and some dried yeast then you are good to go. I have tried the fresh yeast which you can always get from your local supermarkets free but I am never sure about the quantities to add. So if anyone has used fresh yeast for a bread machine please let me know the weight of quantities.
