What to do with left over orange & lemon peel?

What do you do with left over orange & lemon peel a quick tip that has been tried and tested by me.  Fill a bottle with cooled kettle water and add the rind.  I also added fresh lemon juice to the water and shake thoroughly.  Leave for a few days.
